Well, I just spent eight hours dressing mannequins for the window display. Go by any Children's Place and admire the window and know that in Store 35, I did that. It's harder than it seems, so don't think I am whining about it. Attention needs to be detailed and everything positioned correctly. It takes time and dilligence. I worked by myself the entire night (which is good, because on my second late shift, I could really only stand those people so much longer). I watched the mall go from business hours to store closers to cleaners. One set of lights go out at 11:30, the next set goes off at 12:30, and the radio plays at the same volume all night long. At least I heard some decent music while dressing the kiddies.
Nothing wraps up a night's work than seeing Jack Bauer make an appearance on my cell. It put the smile back on my face that was absent for a number of hours this evening. Thank you for making that possible.
